Spring is coming

I am so ready to see the fresh plant life and beauty.  Come on Spring

O Lord give me a thankful heart!

Teach me, O God, to forget all the things in my life that would make me sad or turn my thoughts from my blessings.  Let me wake with a thankful heart and enjoy the blessings that I have left in my life.  Let me always give thanks to you, for you are a good God and worthy of all praise.

Sharing good times

Sharing good times was the reason that I set up this blog and I have not been faithful.  I will try to do better...
For the memorial day holiday I got to go to my sister, Glenda's house and take my other two sisters and niece.  We had a very good time. She has made a beautiful garden of fairies and gnomes plus plants on her back yard and patio area.  I took a few pix and wanted to share.  Now lets see if the picture sharing will work...

I got one of them to download and now I can't find the rest, but enjoy this one.  It is not very sharp because it was overcast and rainy.  It is beautiful

I was so pleased to see the bud opening when I went out to get in the car before Sunday School.
But look what I saw when I returned after SS.
My beautiful rose, given to me by Jennifer and Dave when Wesley went to where the roses never fade.   It made my day. btw  I also put a copy of the one I took the night before

Praise report...........
I had an appointment with the oncologist today.  I am two and a half years out and still cancer free.  Now I can see my regular gyn as long as I see him twice a year until I am five years out.....woo hoo  ................... I am Soooo happy
