Prayer Request.

We got a call today from Jo Anne and it seems that Ginger was painting outside at her home and the ladder becane unsteady.  She has a crushed heel, torn tendon and a bone broken in her ankle.  She is at her son Richards house and will see the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow.  Looks like not much work too soon which will be hard on her.  You know the old story  paycheck to paycheck  I think that is how we all live

We are family

I remember when this pix was taken on Shady Grove.

Glenda was supposed to be in the photo and mom was so proud she was gonna have a professional shot of ALL her children.   The photographer said  " Am I supposed to get All of these kids in the one photo.  Glenda was offended and did not get in the shot. Mother was NOT a 'happy camper"

Wesley and I had a real good day with Glenda and Perry today.  Here is a fantastic shot of Glenda.  This was my favorite of the ones I took of Glenda and Perry.  We shared a delicious lunch and shared memories.  It was especially nice to me because Perry was off and could visit, too.

We are gonna get up in the morning take Zita to work and head to Dallas.  We will pick up Zita's headlight cover and get to visit a little while.  I can hardly wait.  We need a little get a way.  God is good.  I hope this is ok with you, Glenda

Remembering

The other day when Wesley was mowing our yard I saw these and remembered our days of youth.  Keeping our noses yellow from smelling the buttercups and sitting in the clover lacing the blooms for necklaces.  We would practically knock each other down to be the one to get to "Blow" the dandelion.
I can remember chanting  "dandelions - tell no lies"  We got really good at blowing away all the fuzz!
