So much to do

Thanks to my sister I have a load of new clothes to wear.   The only kicker is....now my closet needs cleaned out.  I have cleaned the drawer space for gowns and such.  and put the pants in the chest of Wesley's so now all I have to do is the hang up clothes...   I am doing things little by little and I did so much Saturday that I couldn't move Sunday so all I did was miss Sunday School,  So I think I will do it little by little...guess I was being stubborn,  Wesley kept telling me it would be there tomorrow, which is true, but it is still me that has to do it tomorrow.  :)   oh well. the new clothes are worth the effort and the closet needed cleaning anyway..

Better n Better

I am so happy to say that I have felt a  little better each day.  I am so looking forward to when I can do what I want to do both at my house and Zita's.  Also it would be nice to get to do some of the work with the ladies at church.  I am not good at just watching so I can see a little of how Wesley feels since he can't do some of the helping he used to always do.

I enjoyed a short visit with Zita and the boys this morning.  Wesley and James worked until almost 2:30.  I told James they were gonna have to do a lunch break even if I bring them a roll over if Wesley is gonna skip breakfast.

Wesley and I went over to Jo Anne's tonight and visited a couple of hours.  It was a very nice visit.  She says Max has become the neighborhood star cat!

Good report was given to me by Dr Applewhite.  My new tissue looks very good, and there is no infection.

Hey, sisters and all .. I go to the wound care dr tomorrow to see if it has infection under it and that is the reason it is trying to reopen.

Please pray for Rhonda,  she is having a more difficult time and they suspect she has had a stroke.  I will know more after I see her tomorrow

Glenda, Wesley and I are coming up alone and we plan to see the dr, see Rhonda, and come by for a short visit and pick up some of the things out of your way.  If I see that it will be impossible time wise, I will call.   Don't sit and wait and by all means don't do anything different to your house.  I will call before we leave Parkland and see if you are home.

this is not really a great pix because we took it our self on the camera.  But Uncle James always said pictures don't lie.   Guess this is what we look like.

I am doing my best to stay away from anything that would be weight against my wound or use my abdominal muscles...guess what that means  nothing.  Do you know how bad I hate to just lay in bed when I am supposed to.....I hate it, however I don't mind laying in bed when they don't tell me I have to,  guess it's a psychological thing.. Give me your prayers.

This would be a perfect time for me to scrap if all my scrap things were not buried in bins and boxes...  :) Love you all

Sweet visits

I had a really nice long visit with Glenda by phone and I so much enjoyed every minute of it.
Then I waited around ALL day for the UPS man to pick up my wound vac.  KCI told me they would come between 8 - 5..After doing nothing all day... it was picked up at 5:30pm  I am so glad I didn't get on in the car and do my running at 5...... Wesley and I took the baby quilt by for Gina to hem and then went on the Zita in hopes that we would get to see the boys, too.  They were still there so we did get a good visit with the boys and Zita.   I have been praying most of the day for Jennifer so even tho I didn't get a phone or house visit with her today, she has been on my mind all day.

We leave in the morning around 10ish to go to Spring where Brenda, Wesley's baby sister will repeat her wedding vows. James and Rachel are going with us so it should be an enjoyful trip instead of lots of "me" driving which I was dreading.  We will come home Sat and be at church as usual on Sunday am.

Sisters, I need you to help me pray for Rachel.  She went to er today with ear and headaches and vomiting (about 3 days)  Her blood was 7.  I am not sure what that means but they gave her one unit tonight. They did a head ct and a stomach area sonogram.  They found gall stones.  Any way.. she needs a touch  ( no insurance)

Good news!

I have some really good news today.   First good news was that Glenda and I talked a little while on the phone today.  It seems like forever since we had talked.   It was a fun visit.  good news and not so good news but a good visit was shared.  I told her about my sis in law Rhonda.  we shared other things also.


My nurse came today to check on my wound....She was so surprised, it was totally closed off.   She told me to be very careful for the next 6 wks because it was fragile.  She bandaged it with just the top coat of bandaging and will fax the dr to see if it should be uncovered or covered now!   I am so excited

Rejoice with me.....we sure needed a little good news!

Help Me, Lord

I just wanted to take the time to write on my blog.  It has been a while since I have written anything.  I am not sure what to say.  Everything is about the same..perhaps a little better.
I didn't go to my dr apt on Wed.  I just couldn't make myself go on my own and when we got to Medical City for Wesley's apt, I would have had to find Baylor from a different location,  Park & get to the wound care  office and I would possibly miss the dr talking with Wesley.  I opted to stay with him and blow off my apt.  I didn't want to take a chance on them putting the vac back on.
We didn't go by and see Rhonda either...we did have a very successful visit with both the apts we did keep.  We got home around 4 which is a lot later than usual.  We had got up at 4 am so needless to say we were both extremely tired.

I have a special unspoken request. 

I love you all,   I am believe-ing God still for a miracle for my household.  Hold us up in prayer
