just fiddling around

I did some changes to my blog.  We had a dr day today/   Dr Kerley, Dr Durham. etc   They will do a ct scan tomorrow at the center to determine what progress has been made.

I have had donated several cases of ensure and stuff for Wesley.  also Jo Anne is taking the presction to the medical supply that Regi used for her dad's shakes and she says they will deliver them to our home.  We will let you know when we get facts.

Today Brad was burning the burn pile and an officer came out and gave him a citation.  He was only helping Wesley out and burning the tree limbs from on Zita's house.  Anyway he goes to the judge on Aug 10 .  He seemed pretty discouraged.  He told Jo Anne everytime he tries to do good things it blows up in his face.  Help us pray.  The burn ban was only put into effect this week and he doesn't take the paper or anything. 

Keep us in your prayers.  We will be praying for you all

God keeps blessings

Even when things look dim or dark, God is still blessing.  Example:  I bought a few art supplies for the Sunday School Class.   Zita gave me $20.00 for Wesley's liquid diet.   I bought a few art supplies for Zita's class and Brad bought a 18 can case of Ensure.  See  in spite of it all... we are still being blessed.
Jennifer brought me 3 BIG  Diet Dr Peppers' and a Route 44 the other day and Gina brought out steaks and a bunch of BIG potatoes.  See.... God is still blessing his people

Wesley has been really vomiting today and we had to miss prayer meeting but he is resting now.  His site of his peg is really sore, I am not sure if it is from heaving or a problem.  I will get that checked out tomorrow if it is still sore.  Also  we are at the half way mark of his treatments....almost there!

I feel blessed...

We had an MRI done today, because the oncologist thought there was a chance some invasion was going on there with the cancer.  They found the brain to be showing sign of a prior stroke (which we knew about) and then the things that occured during his code.  All of which we were aware of.   SO   THere is nothing happening in his brain with this cancer .. Praise the Lord.  

Pray for us,  Wesley is discouraged.  I fear the results if he gives up hope in a miracle!

Had a very sleep day.  seems like I couldn't get caught up.  or maybe it was the muscle relaxers I have been having to take.    Pray for my uselessness.  I cannot find where I put Wesley's bottle of hydrocodone.  It was liquid.. who would want to take or borrow it!   We are start ing to lock the house again.  which we should have always done.  Maybe I will run up on it.  I choose to believe I just misplaced it.

I wonder......

Why am I so weary.   I look around and I see lots of God's blessings.  Help me Lord to look at what you have done instead of focusing on what is left to be done.

Lord help me accomplish a few of my things on my to do list.  I don't ask for them all in a day..just to know I am still going forward.

Sorry to be gloomy, but  I am so tired and weary.   I need my rainbow, Lord,   the rain is falling too heavily,  my vision gets blurred.

God is faithful,,  All is well......I love God and my family.....Lord, remember me!

I'm taking it back

Hello world...I am taking back my life.  I am weary of nothing but rest, dr visits, and turmoil.

I did errands yesterday.  Yea, me.. then today while Wesley was hooked to his IV   ,   I WENT shopping ( at the Dollar Tree).  I also ordered some pillow cases from a site that Zita told me about.  I got 12 pairs, good quality, under 40   so when I sell 2 of them I will have my money back.  I can hardly wait to get them in.

I took a pix of Wesley in his radiation mask.  I am posting it.  He has taken 2 treatments without having to take the nerve pill.   Woo Woo.   He is eating again.. PTL

the mask covers all except his nose.  It is weighted to the table with wedges. the bed he has to lay on is narrower than he is...I would hang off on both sides a whole bunch!  Pray  Pray Pray

God is faithful.   Give me patience, Lord til you bring things back inline.

It has been a very hard and trying week!  Wesley has not had a very successful week of treatments and such.  I have had to spend much time at the cancer center.  They have added meds that Zaps him and makes him unable to get about.  Two times I have had to call James to help me with his transport to the center even tho it is only across town.

Highlight of the week!  Wesley and I both got to visit with ALL of us girls and Zita's grands for a couple hours on Thursday.  Then I got to be with Glenda and Zita on Saturday morning.  Although that was not nearly enough visiting time with my sisters while Glenda was down, it was some thing....Then to make it even greater, Perry and Glenda stopped by on their way out of town and visited a little while with me and Wesley.  We all prayed together.  It was good. 

Now, to get to my thanks......Glenda brought me a new pair of sandals, a few new blouses, and a ELECTRIC SKILLET!   Mine had gone out and I had Gina's borrowed.  I can't seem to make some of my family's favorite dishes without one.  As an added bonus, she brought me a wok, too.

Thanks     ...   I needed a little bright spot!

I enjoyed Sunday School very much.  The songs were perfect.  Glenda had a very timely message for me since I seem to be on overload in the stress department.  It is good to hear the Bible approach to this and know  God has provided the remedy. ...'Calm the storm....or  calm ME in the storm.  I should have taken notes,  I would like to share it with Jo Anne.
