It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas ... at my house

Jennifer and Dave came over Sunday afternoon after Thanksgiving and did my tree.  They had to get it out of the shed, put it together and everything,  I love it.. Thank you so much......

Everytime I feel like making a post by the time I get figured out the changes, I am out of the mood.

I love everyone.  I  am happy to be feeling some better.  I got my yard mowed today and that always makes me feel better.

I am really enjoying  my laptop.  However if I only had one computer, I would still want it to be a desk top.

Zita helped me do some little things today.. to make it easier. we set the stitch ( she set it) and got the bobbin all refilled and ready for me to work on baby pillow cases.  I have some sold that I am unable to fill the order with out some sewing.

We have also been doing a little more in my craft room.  It's getting there!

Love and prayers.  I go to a Ladies Retreat this weekend and I am really  looking forward to it.

Loving my Kindle

I am really enjoying my kindle.   Glenda was so "in heaven" over the kindle that Perry got her and then when she visited me, we uploaded the scrabble dictionary for an on the spot reference while playing "Bananas", and I so missed it when she went home.  I decided that the next time she came we were gonna order me one.  When she did come back down for another visit and we did order me one and  guess what .... I am hooked,   I thought I would mostly use the dictionary,, but no such thing.  I am reading a lot more and enjoying the freedom of not having to hurt my hands holding the book.  I am so into it now..... thanks, Glenda........  loving it,  waiting for you to come spend some more time with me!  

Banana

The girls and I have discovered a fun word game that is a little addictive.  We have enjoyed many hours of this game.  Sis Wanda has been a welcome addition to our "gaming".  Just a small pictorial follows..just the sistas (take note, Glenda and I are already "rotten" bananas, Glenda reminding everyone to be quiet, I might be "praying", me concentrating hard., Jennifer obviously the whole game winner that time...and Zita..grinning so .. she musta been the "winner" of that round.

Today I had to visit the oncologist.  My appt went fine, but she wants me to get an XRay of my back to make sure what is going on there isn't cancer related.  My xray is scheduled at 2:30 on Wednesday the 1st.  Guess I'll be doing that dr thing again...or at least the test thing but at least an xray is easy.

Today I went to Zita's to watch the boys Jaxon and Jordan play in the water.  Here are a few pix to share.  It was VERY hot outside today.  I love these boys.  May God richly bless them and heal them of all that life throws their way.

Same old ME

It's just the same old me.  Had a great time with family and friends last week.  Many ups and downs.  One funeral  ( down..but really up) games and just talking with my sisters and friends  . 

MY Aunt Mildred is now rejoicing with our many other family and friends....Way to go, Mildred, tell every one "Hi"  You are already missed. 

Home sweet home

Praise the Lord!    The gall bladder is gone and I am home.  Looking forward to being up and well, soon

I have one room finished...yea!   I am so proud that I took pix even tho the bed is unmade and I haven't got the dust ruffle in place ( it is on top of the bed..tee hee)

I am trying to begin again and do the things that Wesley and I had planned to do a couple of years ago.  I went today and looked ( or should I say bought) some living room furniture.  Here is a pix I took in the showroom.  It is on lay a way.  I look forward to painting inside and re doing some renovations to my house.  It has so been a long hard road since I posted last.  I need to get back in the swing of things.  I pray a special blessing to my sisters and church family who have been a big support in my loss (heaven's gain).

I went to the hospital today to visit

Jess and got the bonus of seeing Glenn, his son, Skeeter, Gina, Mattie and Terri.  While I was up there  he had Barbara, JJ, Mary Barnett and some the the children (grands) of that family come in.  They reported that Kim was out of surgery and it had went well.


Jess looks better to me than he did when I saw him while Wes was in the hospsital.  His diagnosis is terminal and his decision to go on hospice means that he is not fighting to get well any more.  Mattie said he don't want her out of his sight.  He got frantic today ( she had a dr apt for herself) when she came up later than he wanted her to.  At this time he is still in room 528 at the South campus.
continue to pray.. he doesn't intend to be alone.

better news

Gina said at prayer meeting that Jess had a better day.  Marvin and Marvin Ray came in and both of his boys.. and of course, Mattie is staying a lot of the time with him.

They have taken him off of his difibulator and will send him back to the nursing home as soon as the order gets thru for his hospice.

It is all in God's hand.  I pray for Jessie to have peace and be free of pain. If his race is not finished, I pray for GOd to raise him up,   if he has  finished his course, I pray for him to be contented to be in the arms of Jesus

Please pray for Jessie.  Paula called and said they had to take him to er to day where he had a heart attack.  He is supposed to go back to the nursing home on hospice tomorrow according to Paula.

Wesley is getting very tired.  the Lord needs to bring release.  Hopefully and I believe in healing, but this has been too long of a journey, we need help now

He groans when we lift him,  hope we are not hurting him too much internally

I just received word on my house note.  the payment is stayed until July and will then be reviewed...this should let me get some of the dr bills down and get things running on a more even keel....or at least I hope I can.  Pray that I will use much wisdom during this time with finances
