So much to do

Thanks to my sister I have a load of new clothes to wear.   The only kicker is....now my closet needs cleaned out.  I have cleaned the drawer space for gowns and such.  and put the pants in the chest of Wesley's so now all I have to do is the hang up clothes...   I am doing things little by little and I did so much Saturday that I couldn't move Sunday so all I did was miss Sunday School,  So I think I will do it little by little...guess I was being stubborn,  Wesley kept telling me it would be there tomorrow, which is true, but it is still me that has to do it tomorrow.  :)   oh well. the new clothes are worth the effort and the closet needed cleaning anyway..

  1. And there is the difference in us. You stubbornly work whether you should are not and I do nothing whether I should or not. I hope you are feeling better.
Saturday night was really rough for me. I stayed in bed all day and night Sunday except for doing laundry. I had to do laundry. I jumped up changed the load and back to bed. I am better today but really wore out. I worked 9 hours today with no break so that didn't help but I am on the mend as far as stomach trouble.
I pray your back trouble is all better. I tried to call tonight but got no answer. NO problem was just checking on you.
    Love and prayers!!

  4. I have not done anymore culling. I need to but I am used up. We worked all day long Monday on the bedroom and I did laundry Tuesday. I am still wasted from that. Glad you are getting it put up. I worried that I was just making a chore for you. I have got a few cookbooks I am bringing to Joanne. I appreciate her staying with you in the hospital when I was pre-op.

  6. Thank God for His unconditional love!! I have Mom's vanity dresser set up in my bedroom. It looks so pretty. I have wanted to get it in there for years now...finally. I still have so much clutter to clear out!! We got a new tv for the bedroom. It looks so much better. Still have a lot to get done. I need to get my quilts in cases and on the shelf in the closet. My bedroom is a much nicer place now. We are getting there.

  7. Zita, just keep on...I am doing mine a little at a time with the hope that it will get better. Just one box a week gone is my goal and lately I have exceeded that many times over. Of course, I have Perry helping me. I rest when I get tired and start up again when I can. It took years and years to get to this place and it is not going to go away in a day.

  8. Glenda, I am not good at getting anything done here at home. I tend to want to just sit or lay around with Wesley if he is home. When he is working I get more done. Now I know why Mom worked at night. When I work at night I stay headachy all day. Guess I really did break my habit.

I love to work at Zita. Sometimes I wish I was still going over there every morning and staying four or five hours a day. I could really be a help to Zita then. Oh well, time marches on. So much to do and I can't seem to get well enough to do it.

Today I cleaned out the coat closet. I am getting rid of some moth eaten old coats..not going to bring them to you..Had a bunch of broken umbrellas..why did I keep this trash? Perry is not culling out much of his..no surprise there.

  12. Norma..Zita, thanks for the kind words. To be honest what I seem to do is work 1 day, moan and groan in pain for 2to3 days, work another day.....It's a vicious cycle. I am thankful that the effort is starting to show.

  13. Thanks for the Taco salad. I had it for supper. I put lettuce, crushed chips and cheese in a bowl. Heated the Taco salad you brought in the microwave and put it on top of the frsh greens. It was really good. The only thing was I missed the Catalina dressing. All I had was ranch.
    Really enjoyed our visit!
God bless you with health, finances and peace.
