Alice called me tonight shortly after 6pm and wanted to let us know that Ricky, my baby brother was in the hospital (Mansfield). I talked to both of them. Rick said that he had been running a high fever, vomiting, and dizzy for a couple of days. He went to the dr who sent him straight to the hospital for iv fluids and antibiotics. He has an infection in his leg. (Cellulitis). Please pray for him and also for Alice she sounded like she had the flu. Since Wesley cannot be in hospitals or nursing homes at this time , I can only pray from home. Also my cousin Barbara Ann is in critical condition in the ICU here in Paris ( not especially a great place to be) on a ventilator. she coded this morning and is still unable to maintain sufficient blood pressure . It is a difficult time for Bettie Ann since her husband James had a cancer removed in his lung at the Dallas VA and is just out of the hospital. However, my Uncle Jessie has been sent home and will continue his cancer treatments at the Paris Cancer Center. His cancer is single cell type.
We are better..... Pray also for my brother in law Perry who is working long hours in a hot mechanic stall thru this unbearable heat. I am so proud of my little cool house!

I pray Rick is better quickly. Also, Barbara Ann.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys are better.
Perry's day yeserday went better than he expected. He got home about 7:30 because all the jobs he worked on went smoothly, no problems. He ran over 12 hours. He already has about 12 hours of work waiting this morning.
Norma, I googled single cell lung cancer..it is not good.

That is great that everything went smoothly for Perry. I pray his whole work load will be that way.
ReplyDeleteEverything went great at the court today.
Please pray especially hard for Zita right now and also for Bethany. They need a little extra prayer right now. Also for Bettie Ann. this makes two children and a grandchild she has already had to take to the graveyard. As she said, it's not supposed to work that way.
I had already googled the single cell on Jess and so I knew it was really bad and quick, but his pet scan did not show it had moved from the lung area. that is good. Pray he can tolerate treatments.
Paula has been now labeled Congestive heart failure. I has suspected this for some time now. She will have to do a sleep study. She is dreading that but so far she is still quit on the cigarettes. Jess is still not smoking for several weeks now. (Maybe even a month or more)
