This morning while I was cooking food to take to Bettie Ann's after the funeral, I got a call from Aunt Johnnie. She said that Uncle James's wife , Nancy had passed away this morning. I don't know any details yet, since I went on to the funeral, graveyard, and to Bettie's We haven't been home very long. Wesley's walker had a wheel to break so our luck is about as low as it can go.
I will write more details when I know.
I talked to Ricky yesterday, he called and said he was a little less nervous about everything but that it was a scarry situation and they still haven't found an antibiotic that touches it. His white counts are going up and down...They will not even consider sending him home soon; and he will not be able to work on it for several weeks or more; even after they get the swelling down.
I got an exemption on the tuition for the debt counselling class so I will just do it online (both of us) and save the trip back to Plano. Now if I can get my brain working and my knee in better shape...lol
I still have much to do and no energy in this heat.
Sorry to hear about Uncle James' wife. I know she was very sick for a long time. Wasn't she in a nursing home?
ReplyDeleteI googled about Ricky's illness. It is scary but seems to be treatable if not ignored and caught early. He has good insurance doesn't he?

I am absolutely comotose most of the time..this heat is awful. They are threatening rolling blackouts. I pray this does not happen. Our actual electric bill is $330.. Since we average we only have to pay $180. right now, but if this keeps up that will change. It's a terrible thing to say but if we don't get a hurricane in the gulf soon I don't know when we will get rain. I don't want a hurricane to destroy people's homes. It seems like a no win situation. God is the only answer. Perry is still swamped at work. He has been late every night this week and he is exhausted. He won't have a day off until Monday.
I have't checked about anything else since I been home. I did look thru some photos and posted some older ones I thought Myra might like and a few misc, one I just wanted to post.
ReplyDeleteHe has insurance (medical) but he doesn't have long/shot term ( that pays you some salary) but he works salary so unless he has to miss a lot of weeks it should not make a difference in income except for all the medical bill that is his percent. Our elec bill was 165 I was unhappy with that but we have been cool even tho our stat is set on 75
Nancy had had several strokes lately. Peggy said they had put her on hospice
